Soccer Guide for Parents

Soccer a Sideline Guide for Parents was first written in 1995 for the parents of a youth team at Point Grey Soccer.Parent Guide Cover

It was first published in 1998 and has been used by hundreds of soccer clubs all over North America and as far away as Australia and England.

The guide is NOT a rule book.  The goal is to teach parents what to see in the game and how to cheer and contribute in a positive manner.

The guide teaches parents what to see in a game and gives them examples about how to cheer positively. For example, what is a through ball or a give and go?  No rule book tells anyone about the game itself.  If all parents know are fouls and goals then those will be the only things they see.

The guide is sold in bulk to soccer clubs.  Most of the content is online here to read, but parents are much better off with the guide in their hands.  In bulk it costs less than a coffee.
